Man... Or Astroman?

My favorite band of the last 10 years and one of my favorite ever, is Man... Or Astroman?.  Probably the best band you've never heard of.  Blending blistering surf, new wave/punk and a brilliant sampling of oddball sci-fi movies, their music is perfect for the rock and roll Star Wars fan (me).  One of the most memorable experiences in my life was the first time I saw one of their concerts.  Explosive, perfect rock and hilarious hi-jinx on stage, including Starcrunch (the guitaritst) playing an awesome guitar solo using his thick glasses as a slide, and the first time I've ever seen a theremin.  To top it off, they ended it with an enormous Tesla coil that shot sparks and lightning everywhere.  The coolest rock show I've ever seen.  The absolute best, most stunning, inventive and dangerous part was when Coco doused his helmet in lighter fluid and ran around the audience with a massive fireball raging on his head.  I missed the actual lighting since I turned to see who was bumping me from the back (I'm always in the front row) only to turn around with him at eyelevel and billowing flames above his head as he ran by and chased the audience around.   BEST BAND I"VE EVER SEEN LIVE, PERIOD!  I've been meaning to make these guys since I started customizing, as the first show I saw was about the time I got back into Star Wars.  Dexter X and Birdstuff are next.  August 2005

Starcrunch, the guitarist.  He left and has been replaced by a few guys since.  As far as I know the whole band has been on hiatus since 2002

Coco the Electronic Space Monkey The leader and I believe, the founder.  Bassist, Theremin and Tesla Coil.  I made two helmets, one flaming, one not.  I'm pretty happy with how his helmets and both of their guitars turned out.
