Notable Union Regiments
Rhode Island Artillery
Based on a few of the regiments that were formed from the oversized artillery units that manned the forts and emplacements around Washington DC late in the war.  This is my second biggest regiment with 600 men.
Berdan's Sharpshooters
Union Black Hats
I have a lot of these in my Union army.  Meant to represent the headgear of the many western units.  Usually I designate them as being from Illinois or Iowa.
Union Cavalry
Black Jaegers
As I understand it, several regiments were raised from German and Eastern European immigrants that were given uniforms like those of the Imperial German army's Jaeger (hunter) units.  These are based on descriptions because as far as I know there are no photos.
Green Jaegers
Great Coats
I use these guys as Provost Marshall or as garrisons for emplacements.
Hawkin's Zouaves
A very distinctive Zouave unit from Indiana.

Generic Kepis
The majority of my Union troops are basic kepi wearing infantry.
Negro Regiment
A very ornate and large Union regiment.  My largest regiment with 700 men.
Pennsylvania Zouaves
Actually more of a blend of the 114th Pennsylvania and the New York Fire Zouaves.
