Drag Speeder

The idea for this came when I was making the Imperial Field Speeder (which I haven't finished, even though I started it before this speeder).  I was playing around with the pieces and found this shape looked pretty cool.  What I did with both was cut them into quarters.  For the Drag Speeder, I took about an inch out of the middle and then lengthened  it by about two inches for the drag racer look.  I'm pretty proud of the flame job, but the surface could be a little smoother (it looks pretty good in the photos, though), I may have to try a different gap filler.  I've been using Squadron Green Putty and I'm wondering if real, automotive Bondo would work better.  Dec 2004
