Ewok Pioneer

Pioneer being the old military term for a combat engineer; someone who concentrates on the construction aspects of combat.  Therefore, this is the dude (and others) who went out into the woods before the battle of Endor and prepared all the log traps and snares to thwart the Empire's technological advantage.  2002

Notice the turtle shell helmet modeled to look like a WWII British helmet.  I figured he'd like a helmet to protect from falling branches and snags.  He has a mattock to drive stakes and wedges and also a heavy wood axe.

Notice the draw knife and the basket of stakes.  Also his jaguar fur pattern.  I never decided if that was something he applied (a la the Plains Indians) or if that's his natural fur coloration
